I am really happy to say that I shall be presenting at cf.Objective (ANZ) this year! I had a great time last year in Melbourne and glad that this year I won't just be manning the Railo stand (do come and say hello!) but I shall also be doing a presentation on CouchDB
CouchDB is a "noSQL" database that is rather exciting in how it works as well as a highly performant document database.
If you manage to make it, make sure you either come to my session or at least pop by and say hello to the Railo team!

With the upcoming conferences you have the great opportunity to meet the guys from Railo at a conference near you!
So who is going to be where?
CF.Objective(), Minneapolis - April, 22-24 2010

As a Gold sponsor we will have a booth where Mark Drew and Gert Franz will be present most of the time. Sean Corfield and Peter Bell are presenting some topics.
WebDU, Sydney - Australia - May, 6-7 2010

In Sydney Australia Peter Bell is going to present and represent Railo with some talks. We try to be back as sponsors again next year.

At Scotch on the Rocks as a Gold sponsor we will have a booth as well. Mark Drew, Peter Bell and Gert Franz will be hosting it.
In addition you will be able to meet Michael Offner the main architect behind the Open Source engine as well as Andrea Campolonghi the author of the AJAX extensions in Railo.
Mark Drew and Gert Franz will have two presentations about Railo (and Railo 4.0) and Peter will cover a project management topic.
CF United - Washington - July, 28-31st, 2010

This year we will return to the Landsdowne Resort in Washington as a silver sponsor, where this year's CFUnited will take place.
We will have a booth in the sponsor area and a couple of talks with Gert Franz and Sean Corfield.
Mark Drew shall also be attending.
We will blog about out appearances later this year soon.

We are running a great little competition that with just a few lines of code (ok, 4K total file size) you can win a ticket to cf.Objective on April 22-24, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, MN!
There are few rules to the competition, but basically just write some code that shows off Railo Open Source server's features.
Check out the rules and some ideas over at the Railo Blog!

A few people have asked me to post my presentations, and I should have done so anyway straight after the conferences, but of course, since I did three presentations + a Mystery Theatre at cfobjective and four presentations at Scotch on the Road I have been falling behind normal work and blog postings.
So, here for your delectation are all the presentations for you to download... (apart from the Mystery Theatre 3000 since that has a naughty picture in it)

I am currently in Zürich, after doing two days training on ModelGlue, Reactor, ColdSpring, Test Driven Development and Ant (a lot packed into two days I tell you!) as well as hanging out with Gert Franz, the first time since we both starting working with each other!
Anyway, on Friday the 8th of May I am heading off to New York City to hang out with Peter Bell for a few days which shall be a blast again, just before cfObjective, and to present at the New York CFUG on the 12th of May.
Find out more details over at the New York CFUG (http://www.nycfug.com/) come over and join us, as well as having a beer (they do beer in NYC right?)

That's right, before heading to the fantastic cfObjective conference on Wednesday 13th of May, Gert Franz and myself (Mark Drew in case you didn't realise) will be hanging out in New York with the other Railo Meister Peter Bell
We should be arriving in time for Friday the 8th of May, before Escaping from New York and heading up north to Minneapolis!
Nothing confirmed just yet but there should be a cf_drinks happening maybe on Monday 11th Tuesday 12th if anyone is in the area?
We promise good deeds and a plethora of interesting accents at least! Come one, come all!

I have put up my CFEclipse Reloaded presentation online for your viewing pleasure under my

You can check it out there as well as my other presentations or you can
download it directly

Sean
mentioned last night, due to Hal Helms being unable to come to cfObjective because of health reasons a few sessions have been flipped about but like one of those slidey puzzles where you are trying to get those squares in order to make a picture of a butterfly, there is still a slot missing.
I shall try to fill in that slot with a introductory presentation into ColdSpring called "ColdSpring: Better living through configuration". Since its a last minute change, I am hoping *some* people will turn up!
I actually enjoy doing this presentation so it should be a laugh if anything!

I finally made it to St Paul's for cfObjective 2008!
After a brief detour through Amsterdam (and some strange interviews before boarding?!) I am finally here. Slightly lagged but ready to rock!
I am in room 1313 of the conference hotel, and will be heading out soon to grab something to eat and maybe later check out a couple of places for drinks!
Let me know when anybody else arrives!
