At Scotch on the Rocks as a Gold sponsor we will have a booth as well. Mark Drew, Peter Bell and Gert Franz will be hosting it.

In addition you will be able to meet Michael Offner the main architect behind the Open Source engine as well as Andrea Campolonghi the author of the AJAX extensions in Railo.

CF United - Washington - July, 28-31st, 2010

This year we will return to the Landsdowne Resort in Washington as a silver sponsor, where this year's CFUnited will take place.
We will have a booth in the sponsor area and a couple of talks with Gert Franz and Sean Corfield.
Mark Drew shall also be attending.

Liz has posted up a nice big menu of choices for presentation topics at CFUnited 2009. Go cast your vote for the ones you like (I am not going to hint that Atomic Reactor and Model Glue and you are my presentations and they will be a LOT of Fun!... oh.. I just mentioned it! Ooops!)

But I was going to ask the reading public the this: Would you be interested in Model Glue/Reactor/ColdSpring training on the day before? Yes, I mean ME running the training! Dont be scared, it will be fun! (that's what Todd said)

During the CFUnited 2008 Conference in DC, most speakers were able to record their presentations onto Adobe Connect. This is a great feature for most presentation styles (of course not all, since you might want to have a discussion, rather than a presentation), rather than just filming the speaker. What a blast was CFUnited this year! And indeed, I took *some* photos, but for some reason, people managed to take a few photos of me! If you managed to snap me (either in the Crime and Punishment museum or showing off tattoos in the sponsor corral) let me know!

Last night, after a long day at CFUnited, I was invited to witness a quaint american custom, that of the Cream Pie Fight. The guys from Webapper loaded us up with ammo and the fight was on. Check it out:

If you are planning to come to my CFEclipse:Reloaded presentation at CFUnited on Saturday morning, I have good news for you, I have moved it to the afternoon, basically swapped it with Sandy Clark. This means that you can get a lie in in the morning! So to re-iterate, I shall be presenting at 4pm in room 152B on Saturday, rather than 9:45 am. (Before that I shall be presenting ColdSpring: better living through configuration in the same room from 2:45)

Its going round, like a bad cold, so I thought I would also chip in with my CFUnited 2008 meme! What are you looking forward to most? Meeting up with people from the community and hanging out in DC! Which speaker will most likely end up on your camera? Probably Peter Bell, that guy can write and talk like there is no tomorrow! What do you plan to do outside conference time? Well, I am looking for a tattoo place to get some stuff added to my arm, and then it will probably be a bar where the rock is loud and the beer is cold. Any suggestions from locals? I might also head up to Rockville to check out a record shop that Henry Rollins used to frequent. Fill in the blank: I will mainly be around the ______ booth. "Beer" Do you have a new project you are working on and will reveal it at CFUnited? Yes, its part of my FreshAir presentation!
