Google Calendar

Everyone is going to blog about this, I am sure.. yes Google Calendar is finally out of the bag.

Meh, I use iCal.. quite happy with it. I would be viewing the Google Calendar from my Mac most of the time. I dont use calendar applications that much (I KNOW what day it is!)

Go knock yourself out.

<insert exclamation on how wonderful it is>
<insert comment on impact on daily lives>
<insert retort on how it doesnt work under bla bla browser>
<insert usual to and fro of comments>

Google Base

Looks like google is getting into databases. I have had a look over at a post here: http://www.seweso.com/blog/2005/10/google-base.php and they managed to catch some screenshots etc. Interesting game to get into I must say... and right up their street too!

Google Aggregator

I subscribe to a number of Coldfusion based RSS feeds such as Ben Forta's, Sean Corfield's, Spike and Rob Rohan's amongst many. The great thing is that I mainly read these on the Mac using Safari as I have them all bookmarked and can open them all up at the same time. This is fantastic on the mac but what can I do on the PC? Well Google have launched a news aggregator application. I am just testing it out and importing all my feeds to see what I think of it. Watch this space! http://www.google.com/reader/lens/

Google Talk

Those clever bods at Google have been at it again. Now for your entertainment and chatting convenience comes Google Talk!: They say:
Google Talk enables you to call or send instant messages to your friends for free????????anytime, anywhere in the world.
It runs on Jabber so you can connect to it from iChat on OS X for example which is superb! Will this force other IM systems to also open up?
